I draw inspiration from the wisdom and beauty of the lotus flower - the quintessential symbol of the spiritual journey.
The lotus is born in mud. Submerged in the murky depths, she resiliently pushes up against the sticky, fetid mud, for the only way out is through.
When she finally emerges from the muck and opens her petals, she is pristine; the mud has shaped her but has not tainted her pure, clean heart.
She opens her immaculate heart towards the Sun and shares her gifts for the world to see. She has alchemised her pain into beauty.
No mud, no lotus.
